Swish Pattern
Do you have a habit that you wish you didnt have? Then this maybe a technique for you.
When you think about this habit what mental image comes to mind? Make this into a close-up image and from a first person perspective (through your own eyes).
Now think about the desired reponse you would like to have (the new habit). Create an image that will represent this new habit. Make the image far away and from an observer's perspective (looking at yourself).
Now rapidly push the close-up image away from you into the distance and bring the distant image of the new habit right up close to you. Make the 'Swish' sound and do it quickly.
Let the images settle in your mind in their new places
Clear your mind and change your state. Maybe stand up and sit down.
Now repeat that process. Make the "Swish" faster and faster everytime you do it, almost as if you can't keep up with it.
Do this as much as you can to install the new behaviour.
Quick Guide
